Papaya Salsa with Avocado

This bright and flavorful papaya salsa is a blend of juicy papaya, avocado, red onion and cilantro, all tossed together and seasoned with lime juice. Papaya salsa is perfect when served as a dip for chips, or a topping for tacos or grilled chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe papaya, seeded and cut into small cubes
  • 1 avocado, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 1 large handful cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and gently mix together.
    stir all papaya salsa ingredients in a bowl
  • Test for seasoning, adjust if needed, and enjoy!

Notes

Papaya salsa is best enjoyed within 24 hours of being made. However, it will last in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
