10-Minute Lion's Mane Mushroom Recipe

This delectable Lion's Mane Mushroom Recipe is a quick and easy side that takes less than 10 minutes to make and it pairs well with almost any meal from pasta to steak.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lion’s mane mushrooms
  • 1-2 tablespoons butter or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cut off the bottoms of the mushrooms, then slice them into 1/4-1/2 inch pieces.

  • In a dry, medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook the mushrooms for a couple of minutes on each side. The excess water will evaporate and mushrooms will reduce in size a bit.

  • Add the butter and cook until browned, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook the mushrooms for another 2 minutes or until golden brown on each side.

  • Add soy sauce and salt, enjoy!

Notes

Once you get the mushrooms home you want to store them in some type of bag that lets the mushrooms breathe - a paper bag is a great option. 
They will last up to five days when stored this way in the fridge. Your veggie drawer is the perfect place to keep them. Cooked mushrooms are best eaten right away. However, if you do have leftovers, store them in an airtight container for a couple of days.
