Hello. Hello.
And Happy New Year!
I’m excited to share a new video series with you guys called, ‘In The Pantry’. So many of you ask how exactly to stock your ‘Clean & Delicious’ kitchens so I wanted to really dive in and show you what it looks like. But instead of jamming it all into one long video, I’m breaking it down into bite sized pieces.
This week I’m kicking it off with veggies since veggies are the base of any nutritious eating style.
In this video you will see one week of veggies in my house and how I prep them for the week.
I would love to hear any additional ideas, tips, etc. on how you go about stocking up your veggies for the week, down in the comments below.
Hi Dani,
Thank you for your tips (and great videos – I love them) – they will make my new start this year easier 🙂
I wonder if the veggies lose a lot of vitamins if you keep them chopped?
Best regards from Vienna (Austria),
Birgit
I really love receiving your emails and always learn something new. We have just started eating spagetti squash
and was wondering how you store it for future use. Do I refrigerate it, place on counter or in a cool dry space?
Thank you for all your great information.
I love this! I never thought to use a big plastic bin to store prepped veggies in. This is great! One thing I wanted to mention is most of the “handled” greens are the ones I get recalls on all the time for Salmonella and Ecoli. So if I can get unbagged, unwashed leafy greens I do. I usually am stuck with bagged spinach though unless I’m growing my own.
Hi! I can not open this video(
The YouTube said – this video doesn’t exist.
But I can see others from you Chanel, even new one about couscous and protein prouder.
I love this!! Totally awesome Dani. I do some of this but yours seems so much more organized. I really like the “to go ” salad in a jar idea. Thanks. Also appreciate that your hubby helps in the kitchen. Happy New Year
Love this video! This is VERY helpful. I would like to get better at prepping food for the week, but it is easy to be too busy.
Please keep the videos coming! I’m a busy full-time working mom, and anything to encourage easy healthy eating is most welcome 🙂
You are not a bore at all, you are an inspiration and I love your Chanel .your healthy recipes keeps me on the track. I have learnt a lot from and I am very grateful. God bless you and your family.
Wow. I’m doing good to buy one or two veggies during the week and not letting them spoil. How many meals and snacks are you preparing with all these fruits & veggies? (I know I’d need less because it’s just my husband and me.)
We are a family of 4 and I like to have these veggies available for playmates or random drop ins – this way instead of pulling out chips, we can pull out veggies and hummus. And I use these veggies in everything – in my scrambles, chopped in salads, added to cans of soup, eaten raw as a snack, quickly roasted, etc – So I use them as an easy way to add veggies to just about everything I’m eating.
Hi Dani,
Just wondering if you would like to do the pantry thingy again about your freezer and spice…. |Love ALL your videos and recipes, not only in the pantry part!!!I currently would love to hear your idea of how you organize your freezer and your spice… thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi. I just found your website. Great ideas!! I am excited to try some of the recipes.
I also wanted to share something we do. I dice a few onions and store it in the fridge on Sunday morning. It makes the mise en place much easier.
Fantastic tip! Thanks for sharing Charlie:)
