Is it just me or does if feel absolutely essential that something pumpkin-y enter your body on Halloween Day?
These are the next best thing to eating pie for breakfast!
I used unsweetened vanilla soy milk as my base, but feel free to use any milk you prefer.
I also added a couple tablespoons of protein powder in the mix because I had just come back from a strength training workout at the gym; plus, I like the flavor it adds. But it’s certainly not an essential ingredient, so if protein powder is not your thing, just know you can skip it and still have a delicious smoothie (that kids love too!).
