Pumpkin season is still going strong, so I just had to sneak another pumpkin recipe in the mix.
This one is a super, simple smoothie that happens to have a big handful of greens in thrown in the mix but still tastes just like pumpkin pie!
Oh! And if you have kids who don’t like eating green things, just tell them that this is a ‘Monster Mash-Up Smoothie’ or better yet ‘ a ‘Green Slime Smoothie’. I find the little ones are pretty easy to persuade as long as we keep things fun and playful.
Green Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Yield: 1 serving

Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 2 minutes
- 1/2 cup water (or your favorite milk)
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 cup of baby spinach
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- A few ice cubes
- Pop all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until thick and creamy. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
