Cravings tend to get a bad rap.
We want to push them away and tell ourselves we shouldn’t be having them. But is it possible that there is a message in our cravings? Could our cravings be delivering information that we need to know about ourselves and our bodies?
Alexandra Jamieson is the author of ‘Women, Food, and Desire‘ (a book that teaches us how to embrace our cravings, make peace with food and reclaim or bodies) and she believes that our cravings hold valuable information about ourselves and our bodies.
I love the work Alexandra shares in this book because unlike so many diets and nutritional systems, Alex shows us how to use our cravings as a way to reconnect with ourselves and our bodies in a way that helps support our health and weight loss goals.
If you ever find yourself struggling with your food and/or your body, this interview is for you! I broke our conversation into two parts so you can watch at your convenience.
