Day Seventeen: Project Investigation

“The only solution to fear is massive action.” -Tony Robbins

Do any of you guys watch OWN – Oprahs new network?

I watch it like it’s my job.

There is some seriously insightful, life changing, shows on the network and I highly recommend it to anyone who is into ‘living their best life’ (in the words of Oprah herself).

Now onto the eats…

WEIGHT:

Didn’t weigh myself. No reason – just didn’t think of it.

MEALS:

4:30am Coffee w/ half and half & a banana

7:30am 2 slices Ezekiel toast w/ coconut oil, 1 scrambled egg with cheese

10:30am small baggie of raw veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, celery, carrots)

12pm A few ounces of chicken & 3 triscut type crackers

1pm WORKOUT

2:30 string cheese and green salad w/ evoo and vinegar

6pm Raw veggies with hummus and a chicken drumstick, few bites of kids brown rice and beans

8pm 1/2 banana, 2 handfuls snap pea crisps, small glass of mango orange juice

Was hungry today. Packed snacks while driving daughter around so I wouldn’t get ‘stuck’ at a vending machine.

Realized I should have made a real ‘mini meal’ around 8pm instead of randomly snacking on stuff (all kind of sugary). Probably would have been more satisfied with toast and almond butter, a greek yogurt, or a little protein shake.

REST:

Was up super early today… this usually happens about once a week. I’m up and ready to roll so I go with it. I usually get more done in these short hours when the whole house is sleeping than I sometimes do all day!

MOVEMENT:

Worked out w/ my trainer today – strength training with a bit of isometrics an foam rolling. – Defintiely feeling a little sore already.

Also went for an hour walk around 5pm. My hubby took on the roll of feeding the kids so I could listen to an interview of Marc David (one of my all time fave eating pscychology gurus). I figured instead of sitting at my desk and listening, I would use my cell phone and walk while listening. LOVED it!

MIND:

I was kind of blown away today when I sent out my newsletter looking for 6 ‘potential clients’ who may be interested in some ‘free’ weight loss coaching as I finish up the requirements for my certification.

I recieved nearly 100 responses and I’m sad I can only work with six right now. It really opened my eyes to just how much we woman are looking to find the right balance for ourselves with our bodies and our weight.

I am going to find a way to offer something to everyone who responded eventually but have to think about how first.

I’m more inspired than ever to continue to the work I do and learn and get better everyday! Thanks to all of you who have supported me and my website all these years… big fat cyber hugs and kisses to you all!
