Day Sixteen: Project Investigation
It’s been a couple days since I posted something new – truth be told I wasn’t completely plugged in this weekend which equates with not eating very mindfully and not keeping a journal.
I just went on auto pilot for a couple days – but I’m back now.
133lbs – 2 weeks down and I’m up a pound. Simply noticing.
7:30am Coffee with half and half, 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/4 eggwhites, 1/2 an apple, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, lots of cinnamon and nutmeg (I cook this all together for one big fluffy bowl of oats)
10am A few ounces of chicken and some raw veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery)
1pm A cup of Chicken Chili topped with some shredded cheese, handful of baked tortilla chips
3pm Cup of coffee with half and half
5pm Some chicken, few bites brown rice and edamame (from the kids)
7:30pm Banana, small plate of veggies with hummus
Uh…. none. At all. Although I did do several laps around Target;)
I’ve been getting great nights sleep. Went to sleep around 10 last night and was up around 5:30 with the little guy.
My world has been a little flipped around lately. I just finished my 6-week Weight Loss Certification Course and will begin seeing clients in a few weeks. The class brought up a lot of ‘stuff’ for me. We spent a good amount of time exploring our ‘stories’ – the thoughts and beliefs we hold about ourselves in our life.
It’s definitely brought up lots of emotions for me and I’m still sorting through it all. It’s surely related to why I was kind of ‘checked out’ this weekend.
As for today… I was perfectly satisfied (and prepared) all day. I felt good an always notice that my body feels better when I don’t have a lot of ‘bread’ type foods. Now i just have to convince my mind of the same;)
