We had a picture-perfect home birth that began around midnight and was over by 8:30am.  Little Jachs was born in the tub and snuggled in bed w/ his Mommy shortly after.

It’s been an amazing (and exhausting) five days and I’m just trying to take it all in!

Katie is thrilled to be a big sister and can’t seem to get enough of her baby brother

As for me, my main focus right now is getting our feedings down and healing this booty!

Not sure when I’ll be back in the kitchen or back to the blog but had to stop in to share the news.

    Congratulations Dani – he’s such a cutie, isn’t it amazing to imagine him in a few years as a big strong hairy guy? And I’m so happy that you had a home birth – so did I (twice!) after a CSec. It makes for such an easier labour, and a great start! I’m so happy for you!
